National Highways joins Tell TVL’s campaign to combat van crime

With more and more users joining our Tell TVL initiative, we at TVL Security are supremely confident that our collective effort can provide a real means to fight back against van crime and tool theft nationwide.

In August, we welcomed our first three official Tell TVL Supporters to the team in the form of bolt, Brigade and the BVRLA. Today, we’re excited to announce that Tell TVL has also received backing from National Highways.

“Unfortunately, van thefts and break-ins are a constant plague on tradespeople across the country, but through Tell TVL our sector can start to fight back,” says Mark Cartwright, Head of Commercial Vehicle Incident Prevention, National Highways.

At National Highways, we are always keen to support initiatives that improve the lives of UK road users and we are fully behind this new approach to battling van crime.”

National Highways is the government company charged with operating, maintaining and improving England’s motorways and major A roads, working tirelessly to ensure all our roads are kept safe.

Laura Moran, Managing Director of TVL Security, adds: “We’re delighted that National Highways not only recognises the dangers presented by the onslaught of van crime occurring across the country, but the potential value that Tell TVL holds in combatting these thieves’ actions.

“With their help, alongside our existing Supporters, Tell TVL is building a strong collaborative foundation from which everyday tradespeople can fight back.”
